What Is the Par Society Winter League?
The Par Society Winter League is a fun, social indoor golf competition that runs across the winter months.
Play up to six 9-hole rounds on our simulators between December 1st and February 28th.
Only your best 4 rounds will count toward the leaderboard, so one bad day will not ruin your chances.
The league is open to all golfers. You can play with friends in the bay, keep your own score, and chase both Gross and Net standings across the winter.
How It Works
1. Enter the League
Purchase your £20 entry through our website.
2. Complete the Google Form
After purchasing, you will receive a welcome email with a link to submit your details and handicap if you want to appear on the Net leaderboard.
3. Book Your Rounds
Book simulator time as normal through the website, or by phone, email, or in person.
Rounds can be played at any time between December 1st and February 28th.
4. Play Up To 6 Rounds
You can play a maximum of six 9-hole rounds for the Winter League.
Solo scoring is required, but you are welcome to play in a group.
If you do not complete all 9 holes within your booked time, any remaining holes will be scored as +2 per hole.
5. Best 4 Count
Once you have played your rounds, your best 4 scores will be used for your Gross and Net totals on the leaderboard.
6. Leaderboard and Winners
Scores are logged by Par staff and the leaderboard is updated regularly.
Winners will be announced on March 1st.

Rules and Conditions
- Entry fee is £20 per player
- Competition runs from December 1st 2025 to February 28th 2026
- You can play up to six 9-hole rounds for the Winter League
- A minimum of four completed 9-hole rounds is required to be eligible to win
- Only your best 4 rounds will count toward your final Gross and Net scores
- All players will compete from the same tees
- Rounds must be completed within the booked simulator time
- Any unfinished holes at the end of a session will be scored as +2 per remaining hole
- Solo scoring is required, even when playing in a group
- No replays are allowed for Winter League rounds
- Any form of cheating or altering settings will result in disqualification
Simulator settings, including tees, putting and course conditions, will be set by Par staff.
Frequently Asked Questions
Who can enter?
Anyone. The Winter League is open to all players and does not require membership.
Do I need a handicap?
You only need a handicap if you want to compete in the Net leaderboard.
If you do not have a handicap, you can still compete on the Gross leaderboard.
How do I book my rounds?
Book simulator time as normal through the website, or by phone, email, or in person.
When you arrive, let us know that the session is for a Winter League round so we can set it up correctly and record your score.
Can I play with friends?
Yes. You can share a bay and play alongside friends.
Scoring must be individual and only your own score will be used for the league.
How many rounds can I play?
Only your best 4 rounds will count toward your final Gross and Net scores.
What if I only manage three rounds or fewer?
You need at least four completed Winter League rounds to be eligible to win prizes.
If you complete fewer than four rounds, your scores can still appear on the leaderboard, but you will not be eligible for prizes.
What if I do not finish my 9 holes in time?
If you run out of time and have not completed all 9 holes, each remaining hole will be scored as +2.
Can I replay a round to improve my score?
No. Each Winter League round is a one time attempt.
Are simulator hours included in the entry fee?
No. The £20 entry fee is for the league only.
Simulator time is booked and paid as normal.
When will winners be announced?
Winners will be announced on March 1st 2026.
Is the entry fee refundable?
Yes before the 30th of November.
After that all entry fees are non refundable.
